About us

The Agency on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established on the basis of the Council on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in accordance with Decree No. 1317 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 19 April 2021, with the aim of improving governance in the field of state support to non-governmental organizations in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Agency on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a public legal entity operating in the areas of promoting the development of non-governmental organizations, supporting their initiatives, programs, and projects of significance to the state and society, ensuring relevant coordination in this field, and improving and encouraging cooperation mechanisms between the state, the private sector, and non-governmental organizations. The Agency, in cooperation with relevant state bodies, implements all types of financing of non-governmental organizations from the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of a “single window” principle.
