On 13 March 2026, a meeting was held at the Baku Congress Center with the heads of NGOs that won the grant competitions for 2026 announced by the Agency on State Support to NGOs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the competitions announced jointly by the NGO Agency with BP and the Karabakh Revival Fund.
The meeting was attended by Tural Aliyev, Head of the NGO Affairs Sector of the Department for Work with NGOs and Communication of the Presidential Administration; Rahman Hajiyev, Chairman of the Management Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund; Elshad Mammadli, Head of the Main Department for Notary, Registration and Registry of the Ministry of Justice; Aygun Aliyeva, Chairperson of the Management Board of the Agency on State Support to NGOs; and other responsible officials.
Members of the Supervisory Board of the NGO Agency, as well as nearly 300 NGO heads, also participated in the event. During the meeting, expectations regarding the implementation process of the projects by the NGOs that won the competitions were communicated, questions were answered, and relevant explanations were provided.
