The Second Africa Urban Forum (AUF2) is being held in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.
Representatives of the NGO Affairs Sector of the Department for Work with NGOs and Communication of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Samir Mammadov and Shabnam Maharramova, together with Aygun Aliyeva, Chairperson of the Management Board of the Agency on State Support to NGOs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and member of the WUF13 Organizing Committee, as well as Agency staff member Nilufar Ahmadova, are participating in the Forum.
The Forum is dedicated to the theme of “Adequate Housing for All: Driving Socio-Economic and Environmental Transformation to Achieve the Goals of Agenda 2063” and will continue until April 10th.
Ramil Iskandarli, Acting Secretary General of the Global South NGO Platform, Fuad Karimli, representative of the Platform’s Secretariat, and Nadima Rahimli, Deputy Chairperson of the “For the Social Welfare of Citizens” Public Union, are also participating in the Forum.
Within the framework of the Forum, a side event organized by Azerbaijani NGOs is also expected.
