Starting today, the “Regional Environmental Summit – 2026” has commenced its work in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
Chairperson of the Board of the Agency on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Aygun Aliyeva, and the Agency’s staff member, Aferin Guliyeva, participated in the opening session of the event, as well as in the “8th Central Asian Conference on Climate Change (CACCC-2026) – ‘NDCs 3.0: From Commitments to Action’”.
The event is dedicated to the theme “Shared Vision for a Sustainable Future” and will continue until April 24.
Within the framework of the summit, the ministerial dialogue held under the Tehran Convention and issues of environmental security in the Caspian Sea region are in the spotlight.
