On April 23, 2026, within the framework of the "Regional Ecological Summit - 2026" held in Astana, Aygun Aliyeva, Chairperson of the Board of the Agency on State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and member of the WUF13 Organizing Committee, addressed a panel session titled "International Year of Volunteers: Volunteering and Ecological Activities."
A. Aliyeva emphasized that the principles of volunteering and dedication lie at the core of NGO work. She provided an overview of the formation and development of civil society in Azerbaijan and extended an invitation to Kazakhstan’s NGOs to participate actively in WUF13. It was also noted that an international event, the "WUF13 NGO Forum," will be organized by the NGO Agency on May 19.
