An open-air photo exhibition titled “Urbicide, Mine Contamination and Reviving Life in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur” was held on the first day of the “Baku Urban Planning Week” on May 11, 2026, in the central part of the capital, in front of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, with the support of the NGO Agency.

The photo exhibition organized by the “Gilavar Photo Club” Public Union on the theme “Urbicide, Mine Contamination and Reviving Life in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur” attracted significant public interest.

Detailed information in foreign languages about the real events and compelling human stories depicted in the photographs was provided through QR codes.

It should be noted that in 2025, with the support of the NGO Agency, the “Gilavar Photo Club” Public Union organized photo exhibitions dedicated to Azerbaijan’s mine problem in Munich and Nuremberg (Germany), Paris (France), Brussels (Belgium), and The Hague (Netherlands).
