The National, Heritage, Cultural, and Historical Research (MIMTA) Foundation has completed the implementation of the "Ancestral Homeland" project.
On January 16, 2025, a presentation ceremony was held for the e-book titled "Western Azerbaijan in Documents and Sources," prepared within the framework of the project.
Parviz Amirov, Executive Director of the MIMTA Foundation, stated that this resource, which analyzes the scientific and ideological foundations of the Western Azerbaijan concept, serves to disseminate the truths of Western Azerbaijan.
The author of the book, PhD in Sociology Afghan Valiyev, noted that the collection provides extensive space for materials regarding the impact of the Russo-Persian wars on the demographic and political situation in Western Azerbaijan, as well as the Armenization policy carried out during the Tsarist Russian period.
The donor of the project is the Agency on State Support to NGOs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
